Embriq offers a range of new services that may be installed after an AMI deployment. With the implementation of an AMI-infrastructure, for most customers there is a strong focus on power. However, there may be an advantage to already have in mind the consequences it will have to expand this platform to include multiple energy types and other types of consumption such as water, district heating or gas. One should consider the investment and operating costs such an expansion will result in with the new concept and solution you choose.

The Embriq solution is scalable and designed to minimize both the necessary additional investment and increased costs of an expansion. Should the customer, for example, like to expand the AMI platform to include transfer of the water via radio, Embriq solutions has a communications modem on the water meter which is battery powered and therefore can be mounted without the need to stretch the new power supply to the meter. |
